The Plumas National Forest is advertising an Information Receptionist internship at the Mt. Hough Ranger District (May 31 – August 19, 2016). Student interns will receive hands-on experience in office and field settings while supporting other resource areas on the Ranger District (e.g., interns will be trained and responsible for greeting and assisting the public, clerical work, using multi-line phones, several databases and a variety of office machines, collecting fees, maintaining accountability records, and participating in several field days to help or observe different Forest functional areas of work). This is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Student interns will be employed by the Foundation for California Community Colleges during this internship opportunity on the national forest ($11.00 per hour).
